No Jukebox audio , video audio works fine.

Hi,

My strange problem is that the Jukebox audio is not working. It does not matter which audio renderer I select. I just don't hear any sound.

Other audio programs like Windows Media Player and MusicMatch are working fine. (And yes, I've plugged in the audio cables :-)

I've DFX (for Windows Media Player) from FXsound. Does anyone know if the music playback of Sage is routed through DFX (ie Windows Media Player).

I've tested it with and without DFX and reinstalled DirectX9, nothing...

Does anyone have a clue?

Robert

If you're using the 350, you won't get audio out of it through the jukebox. You'll have to use your sound card.

Will the TV out come from the sound card as well? What is the recommendation if I have a 250 and 350? I want to have the TV out from the 350 but still want to hear music. Will the audio come out of the sound card for both TV and music?

I have sound routed two ways. TV goes to TV, then the sound card goes to my stereo. When I want to listen to music, I switch the stereo on. This turns out not to be a big deal right now especially because you don't get the jukebox display OSD on the 350 when playing mp3s.
