Multiple HD-PVRs?
Hello, I've taken the plunge into DirecTV + SageTV and I'm currently setting things up. I've ordered an HD-PVR which hasn't shown up yet, and I'm wondering if anyone has a setup with multiple HD-PVRs.
I'd like to get another DirecTV STB and have 2 STBs, 2 HD-PVRs so I can have true dual tuner capability. I've tried searching forums, but no one makes mention of having multiple tuners. Sicne I can get one at Newegg these days, I figured someone out there must have tried it. -Brian |

I am currently capturing with 2 HDPVR's controlling 2 H21 DirecTV Satellite boxes, I also have 1 D11 capturing SD as just an overflow prevention.

Just got my Dad set up with two HD-PVR's and two DirecTV H20 with USB-UIRT channel changing control.
Works great. Quote:
I do that too except I set the SD tuner as a higher merit than the HD so when I'm recording an SD show it records pillar boxed, and not pillar and letter boxed. Works great with the new multiple guide data duplicate thingy. |
