HDHomeRun: Abrupt channel change mid-show??
So my HDHomeRun, which has been stellar for about 18 months did something odd the other day. We were watching a recording of a new Fox show, "Privileged" and about 10 minutes in, the video & audio stopped briefly and then suddenly we're watching "America's Got Talent." Huh? All in the same recording? I replayed the file again through a different media player and sure enough there is a pause and then the channel was changed. That's NEVER happened before and I suspect Comcast may have had a problem that caused the HDHR to freak out. It's been fine in the days since so I think it was just a fluke. The time line in the file was messed up as well.
My HDHomeRun is "old", but it's not one with the bad power supply. This doesn't sound like a symptom of that anyway. Anyone seen this behavior before? Really strange.
Note: there is scuttlebutt on AVSForum about the SF Bay Area going through digital transmission issues last week related to the local NBC affiliate. Probably the cause.
