Voom Boxes for OTA?

I have a couple Voom boxes that the OTA tuners work well on and was wondering if anyone is using these for sage ota tuners and if it is possible?

I have my server in a laundry closet and use HD100 for tv.

For OTA, just get a tuner that's directly attached to the PC, much easier and much better solution.

Just figured I'd ask as I already have the voom tuners but would have to buy more tuner cards.

Well you can use them if you really want, but:
  • You need to connect them to the line in of your current cards
  • Recordings won't be HD
  • You need to get, and configure and IR blaster to control them
  • If you want HD, you need to buy HD PVRs....

Or you can just get a single HDHR or something, plug the cable in and be done
