added second tvrecord folder but not showing in UI status bar

Hi,

I've been looking at this problem myself for a few days now as its a bit of a pathetic problem and embarrassing to report.

I have a sagetv server install and on a second hard drive I have the original tv recording folder defined. Its down as a unc path of course. This works fine.

I've recently added a second tv record unc path to the sagetv server. The only difference with this one is the share resides on a second server.

I've checked:

1) The sagetv properties file and its there as I'd expect it to be.

2) The share is writeable to everyone inc the sagetv server.

3) The clients can get to the share.

4) Restarted sagetv service.

I have sagemc installed on the client and the status bar at the top does not show the extra space, nor does the system info page in the settings screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you configure the recording directories using the default STV (SageTV3.xml) and is there a problem with the new recording dir while using the default STV w/o any customizations active?

If not, always troubleshoot such issues using a default setup.

If so, does the user the service is logged in as have read/write permission for that network location?

Hi,

My sagetv server does indeed run the standard ui, only the client runs sagemc. I'm going to tripple check the write permissions as this does smell of an issue like that, pretty sure I'll find its correct.

I'll test setting up a second record folder actually on the sagetv server too, see if that works.
