Question Hauppauge stream buffer?

In my research for new hard drive, I have come across a question.

Does anyone know if the Hauppauge Win-tv 1800 has a host buffer or stream buffer?

Some of the seagate DVR designed drives will supoort 10 HD streams, but this spec "Assumes 2-Mbyte host buffer per stream".??

Anyone know anything about the seagate DB35.3 series drives?

Thanks.
