Cannot make my sageMC submenu look like the others

Really finding studio a steep learning curve.

I'm trying to create a new submenu in the style of SageMC.

I've copied some things about and in studio it looks the same as "My TV" where I have copied from.

But I launch the menu and the menu buttons are in the wrong place on top of each other and are just text and not buttons.

Futhermore theres no background.

I'm guessing you have to tie a "theme" to the new menu but how?

Ok, Seeing as you live quite close to me I'll stick my noob head out and say yes you need to use a theme.

When you look at your menu container properties you should have a drop down menu "autoarrange" Change that to horizontalgrid or verticalgrid and further down there is another drop down menu called scrolling, change that to horizontal or vertical.

Dont quote me on those as I'm no expert and still learning myself.

Hey neighbour,

And I thought I was probably the only person in East Anglia using SageTV.

Thanks for the post.

I found the problem - I created a new theme object rather than refering to an existing one. Plus background colour seemed to only take effect after restart.
