Raid for the Media Center Server OS or not?
I'm going to be building a brand new quad core Vista x64 server to run SageTV and apache/mysql for another project I work on.. My question is..
Would installing Vista's OS on a RAID system be helpful, hurtful or of no real benefit to me? I have the drives for it, but don't necessarily need to use all of them if not necessary. My Sage Recordings are all placed on external drives formatted for that use exclusively. Thanks!
