Newbie Question...

I have a WinTv-350 and would like to try the 15 day evaluation of sage tv. I installed SageTV_V1_4_10Setup.exe and it installs java and leaves the shortcut to sageTv. When I click on the SageTv shortcut it gives me three options 'Visit Website, Enter Key, and OK'. Since 'OK' is all that applies to me, I click it and nothing happens, the little pop up box just disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try a re-install?

Yeah..

But it didnt change anything. I still cant get any kinda screen beyond the 'enter key or start trial' screen.

Enter key by typing in "trial" and it will solve your problem. If you visite the trial web page, you will see this =)

I think you are confused you dont type trial in there. Previously you had to during the installtion (where its asks for a password I think) so that you could get guide data. When they stopped charging this is no longer a requirement. If it prompts for a key when launching and does not let you in, its becasue the trial expired. Either that or it was installed before and removed then reinstalled. Send support an email if this is not the case. Its all but impossible to get sage working when this happens. That is short of a complete OS reinstall. They make it hard like this so you cannot just keep reinstalling or defeat the trial in some way.
