HDHR Help!
Clearly I must be doing something wrong, but I can't seem to get my HDHRs to consistently change to the appropriate channels. I have 2 units (4 tuners) and had no problems when setup under BeyondTV, know that the devices are all working. Since this is part of my original setup after migrating from BeyondTV, I've:
When I add a second tuner, I use the existing lineup from the first HDHR tuner (Copied from base due to HD-PVR), but when I go to a channel (say WCBSDT), it will tune to a totally different channel. What is making matters worse, is there doesn't seem to be any consistency where I could describe a pattern of behavior. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have followed instructions outlined in this thread to a tee: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34196 I have to say that as a new SageTV user, this is frustrating. Go back and find the beta forum at SIliconDust. Looks like there were issues

Thanks! That does seem to have addressed some of the problem at least. I'm now able to get 3 of the 4 tuners at least consistently setting the right channels. 4th tuner just seems to tune the major channel, and not the minor channel.
Ah, life in a beta world, it's definitely a love/hate relationship. |

Or go back to an earlier release...I'm on 20081002 and it works fine with 6.4.8

Yes, all 4 tuners are setup exactly the same on the same lineup.

Humm...I've never downgraded drivers on the HDHR. Does the firmware mix cause any issues?

Good point, you probably can't do it..but I'd ask on the SD forum.

You can downgrade drivers - I've done it before and had no problems.
