UHF/RF Remote - Starchoice
The remotes for the Starchoice DSR505 receivers support both IR and UHF/Radio ... ie you can change channels from outside the room using the UHF/RF.
And each receiver can have a different address. UHF/RF would be a great way to control a group of receivers vs IR. Has anyone done this? Or know of a UHF Transmitter that could be used? Thanks |

I am trying to solve a similar problem, I have a Dish 322 receiver that has two channels the first is controlled by a IR remote and the second is controlled by a UHF/RF Remote. I found a post on the knoppmyth wiki that shows how to connect a RF Remote's Keyboard to a Parallel port.
See my post at: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14839 and the knoppmyth post at: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.p...ter+for+tuner2 Just need a simple driver to do the same for SageTV. Last edited by BobMax; 03-23-2009 at 11:39 AM. |
