WinTv HVR-1600 ATSC setup
Hi Everyone,
New to sage and going crazy trying to set up this tuner card. I am not interested in QAM just over the air ATSC locals. After set up i only have one channel that has a signal all others say 0% signal quality In Vista media center all channels come in at 100% signal and look incredible. ![]() |

I wasn't able to tune to any channels. Though, I figured it out. When adding the Video Source, I just blew by the video card selection, selecting the default WinTV 418 Video Capture. Once I slowed down and thought to select WinTV TS Capture card, then everything worked as expected. I don't know what "TS" is supposed to mean, but had it read ATSC it would have been obvious and wouldn't have spent as many hours as I did doing this

Well, that wasn't too hard - found to change the Video Renderer in Video/Audio in SageTV Details setup from VMR9 to Video Overlay. However, for HD video, it's "blocky". I guess I have some reading up to do about Renderers, Decoders, and Filters, Oh My!
