Stupid Question about HD PVR...

Is there a HD-PVR setup guide for Sage?

Only one hit in the Sage Manual. I've read some of the setup stories. And was wondering....

Is there a consensus on what is 'best'...
Use blaster from HD pvr to contol tuner
Use blaster from USB-UIRT to control tuner
Use firewire to control tuner (if available)
Use serial port to control tuner (if available)

Those are always best, especially if best == most assured of changing the channel correctly.
