Problem Posting to the Download section

Does anyone know if there is a maximum size allowed for posting to the download area?

I am trying to post a ZIP file with some artwork that is about 15MB and I keep getting the following error:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.
I am trying with both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I know there is a limit. Look at some of the bigger downloads. They are actually hosted elsewhere. I just can't recall what the limit is. 10 MB maybe. I know I have uploaded file sizes around 8.7 MB. Can you split it up or host it elsewhere?

Well, I tried splitting it up into 7.5MB files and even into 4MB files and still no luck, though the error message changed - now I just get "The Upload Failed! Upload Error" in red at the top of the screen. I see there are other posts of over 6MB, so there must be something wrong with the forum server.

Unfortunately, I don't have someplace else to post... maybe I'll try PM'ing Opus...

I thought the file size limit for the downloads section was either 2 MB or 8 MB... if people have been able to upload files larger than that, I'm not really sure how that worked.

Most people use outside file hosting sites for large files & then use a liink to the file when setting up the download. I don't know what site(s) to suggest trying, but maybe someone using one can comment.

Well, the limit must be 2MB then (I didn't try anything smaller than 4MB). It's possible that others got around the file size limit by hosting on a remote server and just putting the link on the downloads page. That's what I ended up doing.

Unfortunately, all of the free file sharing sites that I saw will remove your download if you don't log in at least once a month. I ended up posting my stuff to RapidShare.com and linking back to it from the Sage Download section. They will at least keep files as long as they are accessed once in the last 90 days.

It would be nice if the Sage Forum could host slightly larger files (10MB would be good).
