SageTV and Comcast On Demand

Can SageTV connect to Comcast's On Demand and stream it to the extenders and can it record it? How do you connect to it......is it basically, channel 1?

Thanks,
Greg

SageTV could theoretically stream anything to the clients/extenders that you present on it's capture cards. The limiting factor here is that there is no way for SAGE to actually purchase/start the On Demand item. It would ahve to be done manually directly to the STB, and Sage set to record manually.

So, what you are saying is that there is no way to access On Demand via the media extender/SageTV. I would have to use the buttons on the STB or the STB's remote to launch it and get the show up. Then I should be able to record it with SageTV manually.

Is this correct?

Thanks,
Greg
