HD-PVR dead?

all of a sudden my HD-PVR has stopped responding. Sage (after a reboot of the computer) has now removed the tuner from it's devices. I've power cycled the PVR (left power off over night) and nothing. TVE does not see the box. Also, when I do power it on, after a minute or so windows say a USB device has failed (must be the PVR box). I've changed the connections to only use s-video and analog sound to see if that helps, nothing.

Before I call Hauppauge (this is already a replacement of a C2 model...this one is an E1) I'd like to get some ideas on other things to try.

I've also tried to uninstall the drivers and reinstall. The PVR 500 and 2250 install just fine, put the HD-PVR drivers say they can't install (most likely because they can't find a unit).....SHOOT!!!!

do you have another machine to try it on? Even just to see if windows can see it?

Then sound like it has gone south best get it RMA then.

Just got RMA number from Hauppauge....will try another one
