ATI All in Wonder HD support

I can not get sage to work with the tuner on this card.

Its based on the ATI Theater 650 Pro which I think shold work.

Save sees the card and gives the option of "ATI AVStream Analog Capture". If I select that I get options for composit, s-video or TV TUner. If I select the tuner. It tries to generate a preview and fails.

I have the latest ATI drivers loaded and the system is fully updated.

The card works fine in windows media center(separate vista PC) and in the ATI software.

The PVR-150 in the same system works fine.

Suggestions/Questions?

I believe if you're using the ATI AVStream Analog Capture it is doing software encoding, and probably needs the ATI software installed. Sage does a better job with hardware based cards and tries to do the best it can with software based cards. Contact Sage support. The PVR-150 is a hardware based encoder capture card.

Ita a Hardware encoder. Sage supports similar cards I'm hoping this one will work. (I got it for $60 at the Circut City closeout.)

At a minimum its got a much better TV out signal than the Geforce 7300LE that I was using had.

It looks great for the OTA HD signal and it'd be a shame if I can't use it.

Hopefully support will have an answer.

Sorry-you're right. It's not like the old style ATI AIW. I would suggest searching the forum for the ATI 650 and contact Sage support. This is a user to user forum.

Already saw and read that one. He is getting further than I am. He can at least get the card to provide either HD or SD content I can't even get that far.
