Angry Arggh Comcast! KTVU(fox) obliterated by KPIX(cbs) (HDHR tuner)

So I am one of the lucky ones participating in Comcasts Digital Now fiasco. Almost daily I find channels moving around. Right now our Fox affiliate KTVU shares a major channel with KPIX. KTVU is 79-2 and KPIX is 79-1. In my HDHR setup everything looks good, and in Channel Setup in Sage the VIEW button shows Fox correctly. Sadly, when I use the Channel Guide, Fox is replace by KPIX (CBS). This, of course, ruins all my Favorites on Fox. I have scanned, rescanned, rebooted, stood on one leg, you name it. I can't get Fox to show up.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure I understand the problem... are you having problems tuning the channel(s) or is the problem just wrong listings in the Program Guide?

If the guide is wrong, check out the Zap2it site. If the listings for your lineup are wrong there, there is a FAQ that says how to report it to SageTV.

The program listing is fine, but when I tune to Fox, I get CBS. Any favorites on Fox record the corresponding CBS show. This is more confusing in the the VIEW action in setup shows the correct channel, but tuning via the channel guide results in CBS instead of Fox.

Any ideas? I fresh out of things to try.
Thanks,
--John

If you've configured the HDHR exactly as these instructions say, including configuring the channel name and number in the HDHR channel editor, then contact SageTV for help trying to resolve the tuning issue:

HDHR setup for Windows

You may be asked for a native log created during the HDHR scan in SageTV; if so, see this FAQ.

As someone commented in another HDHR topic: did you scan both HDHR tuners in SageTV?

Ah, that is something that I overlooked. I have not scanned each of the four HDHR tuners (two HDHR units) in Sage, just the first one in the list. I'll give that a try.

Thanks! and wish me luck. This Digital Now transition is a pain.

Woot! Scanning each tuner in Sage was the trick! Thanks for the great (and timely) advice.
