Latest Beta (v6.5.13)- dynamic Table widget properties

Has :

Studio Updates
1. Changed Table properties NumCols, NumRows, Wrapping and Dimensions so that if they change dynamically they'll update on the next UI refresh; the menu no longer needs to be reloaded

That's a nice change!

BTW: The Dimensions and Wrapping properties for Table widgets use numerical values for their dynamic expressions, not strings corresponding to the property settings. For either of those properties, the numerical values can be:
  • Vertical: 1
  • Horizontal: 2
  • Both: 3

Another BTW: The current version of Studio doesn't handle adding dynamic expressions to the Table widget's Wrapping and Dimensions properties, but it is already fixed for the next update.

In the meantime, you can manually edit those properties in the STV's .xml file, which is what I did last night. (Just don't try editing the table in Studio after that, or the expression will get removed.)

This is great and much needed in my import. Unfortunetly editing the stv.xml is confusing for me so hope for the update soon

I'm not sure I understand your question. You can either choose from the drop-down box's list of options or use a dynamic expression for the widget property value. There are a couple places where this is now used in the default STV, one of which is in the malore menus for its configurable wrapping option.

I figured it out I was setting my own property's and calling them dynamically in wrapping didn't know if I needed to set the properties as vertical or 2. It is the numbers and works great glad to see this addition.
