Beyond TV -> SageTV: Why not automated?

As I'm exploring making the transition from Beyond TV to SageTV, I wonder why someone hasn't written an automated meta-data solution to convert/import Beyond TV's metadata and recording folder structure into SageTV...

I think an STV(i) -- one that prompted the user for their Beyond TV login and password, then use BTV's API to read BTV's recording folder structure, and imported the meta-data from the shows it found, imported the recording folder structure and meta-data into SageTV -- would be amazingly useful; rather than the hoops necessary to convert 'em now.

I'm no coder... Anyone want to tackle this?

The link Gerry posted above is probably your best bet.

Fonceur's app (you'll recognize "fonceur" from the Snapstream Forums and Nielm's webserver app (SageTV user) both work together to make the transition relatively painless.

If you have questions about it let me know by posting in this thread. Thanks!
