Comcast Plan change question

My Comcast promotional pricing recently ended and now I am considering switching down to the Digital Starter package. This allows only channels 1-99. My question is this, does that mean that my HDHR no longer will get any clear QAM channels over 99? Fortunately its only a few but G4 and UHD and I watch them frequently.

You'll almost certainly keep getting them. There's a decent chance you'd still get them if you just had Internet through Comcast, and no TV plan at all. But, don't expect it to last. At some point Comcast will probably realize those channels are out there for all to see and they'll start encrypting them.

They did something similar to that here. When I got my first QAM capable device we found the VOD channels wide open. Of course you could only spectate what others were watching, but it was there. About 4 months later Comcast locked them down. It seems to me that sheeple are so conditioned to 'just pay it' that companies are getting away with almost anything they want.
