Copy code segment and resolve references
I want to copy a segment of code to another STV, but it has references to other sections of the STV. Is there a way to copy the block of code and have it bring the actual code that the reference points to instead of the reference? It looks like if I manually go through and promote all of the reference to the primary reference it does bring the code.
Thanks, Jeff |

The built-in Export Selected Menus command always includes all the referenced code. My Export As STVI command includes (by design) only primary descendants, and encodes secondary refs in terms of widget symbol.
Or are you talking about some other way of copying code from one STV to another?

I had tried a whole menu before, using everything but that... Is there anyway to export a section of code? Or would you just make a reference to a dummy menu and export the dummy menu?
Thanks for you quick reply.. Jeff |

Right. Make a dummy menu and drag in refs to the code you want, then export that.
