Hi,
I'm running SageTV 6.5.14 on Vista x64. All the while i've been running the latest 32-bit sun java. I'm hoping though to get SageTV working with 64-bit java. I uninstalled all my JREs and installed just the latest 64-bit java. SageTV complained it couldn't find a JVM though. If i installed a 32-bit one, it found it and worked fine. Is it possible to use the 64-bit one with SageTV? If so, instructions as to how? Secondary question. Perhaps a stupid one. How reliant is SageTV on java? Is it written totally in java, partially in java, etc.. Much thanx, -Tony |

Lots of Sage is written in Java, I think all the UI logic is coded in java. I think really anywhere that can be Java is, basically everything except interfacing with non-java code (like drivers, directx, etc).

SageTV is compiled for 32-bit JVMs.
