Netflix on VMC

Man, I really wish Sage was first on this. It would be so cool to be able to watch Netflix from within Sage.

You do know you can watch Netflix using SageTV, right?

Sorry, yes, I meant native support for Netflix, something that would work out of the box with the extenders. AFAIK, there is no way to watch on the extenders unless you do the video loopback method. Plus, on VMC you can supposedly manage your queue as well.

The big news with the VMC Netflix is that it won't work with their extenders or XBox360 so other then the fact that it is native and not a 3rd party add-on, I think it gives VMC users the exact same thing the SageTV plugin.

I would definitely like to see native support in SageTV - so don't get me wrong on that, but it really needs to work on extenders to make me happy.

Ah ok, good to know. If I had read your blog today, I would have known that already

So here is an opportunity for Sage to do what they do best - take functionality that exists elsewhere (VMC) and do it better (allow Netflix on extenders).
