Sage does not expect multipart movies
I recorded a 2 part movie, the show ID is MV2464340000 for both parts. However, the Part x of 2 line is correct so Sage should know they are different. When I watched part 1, I noticed that part 2 was also marked as watched. When I cleared the watched flag for part 2 it also cleared part 1. Is this a bug, feature or should it be corrected as a feature request?

How did you get SageTV to record both parts of the multi-part movie?
I have been trying to record a two part movie with each part having the same Show ID. Part 1 records but it will not record part 2. I had both set for manual recording. The program descriptions are different in that they have "Part 1 of 2" and "Part 2 of 2" in them. |

Just mark both parts as manual recordings. This will also prevent the second part from being deleted after the first part is watched.

Because of another thread (http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=42849) concerning this same issue I decided to go ahead and inform Sage support of this issue.
Here is their response: Quote:
