Convert Dixv-PS files back to MPG files

Hi there,

During my troubleshooting of recovering missing SageTV recordings, some of my recordings' file extension changed from MPG to DIXV-PS. I think the problem started when I changed the advanced_video_file_recovery from false to true. Does anyone know how to convert the files back to MPG?

Also what is dixv-ps? I tried to google it, but couldn't find any answers about this file extension.
