Channel Changing with USB-UIRT and Comcast STB
Edited to add Attachment.
I have run into an issue with channels not changing corectly. For almost 3 years I have not had any issues but suddenly when a channel change is made from a remote or from a scheduled recording channel changes are inconsistant. I will see for example if the channel change it to channel (57 SYFY) Sage will send 05 then I will see 7 and no change occures. Other time it is ok and I will see 057 and the channel changes. Are there any issues with version. System is set to run in service mode, Only Media Extenders access system no local PC. 1 Media MVP 1 Sage HD200 3 Motorola DCT700/US STB 2 PVR150 1 PVR300 Any help on this would be greatly welcomed. Thanks

I also have Comcast, but a different Motorola STB (DCT2000 series). I have noticed that for the most part everything works great, but every once in a while something will happen to make things unstable and then I start missing shows (same symptoms as you are reporting).
I have found the answer is to play with the *.IR file and change either the repeat count or the delay between digits. The IR file is stored in <SageDirectory>\Common\RemoteCodes\USB-UIRT Transceiver. If you only have one STB configured to work with Sage you may be able to tweak these values directly inside sage without editing the IR file. In my case, I have 3 IR Files for each of the 3 "Zones" so I can control multiple Comcast Boxes. Anyway, I have found that the default repeat count of "10" is way to high, lowering it to 2 or 3 made things much more reliable and channel changes are faster too.

I also have 3 STB and 3 IR files. I just looked at the files and Repeat is set to 10.
I will change them and give it a try. Will let you know the results. Thanks, Jeff MOTSTB-Z1 37616 411 3 200 1000 RepeatCount 10
