Brent - what wireless ones did you try? Did you find anything that would indicate why they use the term "basic"?

I just pulled out the DiNovo Mini that I bought for just this occasion. Now I just have to get the kids away from the TV for a while so I can update the firmware and give it a try.

Aloha,
Mike

I tried this junky chinese wireless keyboard
And the BTC 9019URF

The wired one was a super-cheap no-brand version.

No. I'm assuming they said "basic" because they haven't tested it much so I'm guessing the media keys and other similar keyboard features aren't supported yet at least. Didn't have much time to test this morning but will do more later.

Just the alphanumeric keys or do the media controls work as well?

Seems about like every other review by a magazine/website. I don't think it is too far off. Yes it is somewhat slow. Yes Sage isn't as polished (but at least they mentioned the abilities to update the GUI and customize Sage along with not dealing with DRM). Yes its strength is as a Media Extender. Their recommendation of the Tivo solution is interesting as I haven't read any thorough reviews that have good things to say....then again I haven't spent a lot of time looking for these reviews.
