STV Import: OSD Signal Meter

OSD Signal Meter is an import for the default STV that places a small bar-style signal meter to the right of the On Screen Display. It is meant to be used as a tool to help debug signal dropout issues.

To see how strong your signal is select "Watch LiveTV" and the bar will appear to the right of the bottom OSD panel.

Known limitation: If you are watching something live and press the "pause" button, the signal meter will be out of sync with what you are seeing on the display.

Helpful hint: If you want the OSD to remain on the screen you can adjust the inactivity timeout (or even eliminate it) by going to Setup->Detailed Setup->Customize and changing the settings for "Inactivity Timeout and OSD Hide".

To install save the .stvi file to ../SageTV/SageTV/STVs/SageTV3 directory and import it.
