A switch from XP to Vista Home Premium

Hi again all,

I was using a machine with XP pro and was recording great with Sage Tv. The MB failed so in a hurry not to miss anything I pulled the PVR-150 out of the XP computer and put it in the Vista Machine with complete disappointment. I am seeing lots of pixalation, audio cutting out or no video at all. I installed Sagetv with the basic or default settings and downloaded from Hauppauge the lastest drivers for the card using Vista with no help.

Has anyone else come up with this situation or am I missing something?

The video source is coming from a Directv HD receiver H21-100
the computer has Vista home premium (64 bit) with an AMD Athlon Dual Core 2.71Ghz, 4 gig of ram
with a an Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT video card with 1gb.

Thanks for the help!!

Rick

I thought there is a problem with the PVR 150 running on a system with 4 gig or more?
