Can't use license on new machine
I rebuilt my client PC and wasn't able to uninstall SageTV off the old HDD. Now, I can't enter in the license number on the new machine. The old HDD doesn't work (it died as I was uninstalling a number of programs to preserve their licenses for the new machine) so rebooting from that and uninstalling SageTV is not an option.
When I try and enter in the license number on the new machine I'm told that I can't run the same license on two machines and the SageTV closes. Don't even get an option for a trial. I've looked in the manual and searched the forum and haven't found a solution. TIA

I believe you have to restart the sage server. Then you can enter your license. You might need to restart the client with the register parameter.

Thanks! Rebooting the server did the trick. I rarely reboot it because it's so stable so that didn't occur to me.
