HI all;

I hope you can assist me with an issue.

Latest version of SageTV is 6.6.2. Yours indicates 6.0.13.1. First recommendation would be to upograde if you expect it to support a just release OS. Also look in the beta forum for the native recording patch for better Windows 7 support.

Interesting

I have downloaded and installed the newest version of Sage already. I will have to look into this a bit.

Thank You for the native patch info. I will give that a try.

More info

I did an upgrade from an earlier ver. My sage says it's 6.6.2.218
java 1.6.0_16

I wonder if my computer is loading an old ver of sage somewhere or somehow.

Maybe I will just reformat and install fresh and see where that takes me.

Any suggestions 64bit or 32?

If this is the machine where the tuners are then you should probably stay 32bit. Unless you know your tuners have 64bit drivers and the are certified WHQL. For Sage server it doesn't gain much going 64bit. If it is just a client I use Win 7 64bit.

The "6.0.13.1" version number is probably coming from the .exe file's properties. Just look at System Information in the SageTV UI to confirm your version number. That is what is kept up to date for each version change.

Look at SageTV's debug log to see what it says is happening.

And, in general: make sure DirectX & the video card drivers are up to date; test your RAM to make sure it is not failing; if you are using any customizations with SageTV, revert to a default setup w/o any customizations. You could contact SageTV tech support to see what they suggest.
