Still has no equals...

Gizmodo did a "round-up" of media players/streamers and (of course) failed to include or even mention the HD Theater.

While Sage's UI is in need of some updating, it can easily be tweaked with add-ons. All these other products suffer and falter on so many levels.

It's a nice little article to know how good we all have it. Jump in and comment, perhaps telling the Gizmodo guys where to look for a better product to top their list.

Reading that writeup it seems that the HD100 kicks butt over those other devices, not to mention the HD200.

The comments in that thread were ridiculous for the most part. Even if some of those folks saw and HD Theater set up with a SageTV server instance, decked out with SageMC, I'm sure they still wouldn't get it.

I suppose most people are happy with mediocrity - or worse.

It did surprise me that even by this afternoon with a ton of comments, absolutely no one mentioned Sage. Not a single person. I had posted a comment last night, but I suppose it was never approved.

I think that the HD200 is only marketed through the sage store, not via other vendors. This really limits its visibility.

You have to be into HTPC's to have heard of sage.
