settings related to live tv temp files?
A couple of questions related to the temp files created by SageTV for live tv:
1. I understand Sage will delete these file automatically. But how long exactly are these files supposed to live? It seems as long as SageTv client is open, the temp files will not be deleted even if the playback has stopped. Even after SageTV client is closed, they still exist for a while: sometimes a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes, sometimes an hour. The exact time is very difficult to determine. This creates a problem with dirmon/comskip if I do not want these temp files to be processed. Is there a time limit setting for this automatic deletion that can be changed somewhere? 2. Is it possible to separate temp files from normal recording files by either storing them at different locations or giving them different naming conventions? Thanks. Make sure you have set it in the settings to delete partial TV files. Then it is usually minutes before they're deleted.
