My two HD200 needs power cycle a few times a week

I have two SageTV HD200 extenders that live in my server closet that seem to lose connection about once every two days. This requires me to go down to the basement and power cycle the units. The location of the units and the fact that the power cycle reboot is fairly long makes this a real PITA.

I dont see anything notable in the logs, what I do see is that the red light on the extender is out on the frozen units. They both need resets from time to time but never really at the same time so I dont think it is a server issue.

I have a brand new sage server core duo and all that jazz.. Server is super stable only runs sage. I just rebuilt it 2-3 weeks ago. I am a IT admin by day so I have all sorts of monitoring software on it. Nothing notable in the windows or sage logs. Server and extender are in the same closet connected by a 100M switch.

I do run comskip but those threads run on low priority.

The connection drop almost never happens when we are watching TV. It mostly seems to happen when we turn on the TV at night after not watching it all day. Sometimes we see the screen saver but most times I have a blank screen.

Any idea on what I can look for to clean this up? I just upgraded the HD200s firmware over weekend, no real improvement as the connection drop happened the next day.

Might check temps mine did that until I stood them on end to let more airflow past, since I have done that haven't had another issue.

I dont have anything on top or below them but will give your idea a shot..

I assume there is no temp value that I can pull up to see how hot it is running?
