				HVR-1600 and analog tuner

I need a little help getting the analog tuner on my hvr-1600 working. I am running Sagetv on a home built WHS with a quad core CPU. I am using an hd-100 in my main tv. The problem that I am having is that video from the analog tuner on this card is scrambled and pixelated audio is jumbled as well. The digital tuner is working great no stutter or anything. I really need access to the analog channels so that I can get espn recorded. Where should I start looking to fix this?

Is Comcast your provider? They dropped espn off of my straight analog and now I have to record via the cable box. I use my 1600 to blast to the comcast cable box to change the channel and it works terrifically.

Are you sure your Comcast hasn't stopped providing analog altogether? I know on my Comcast all of it is now broadcast digitally-no analog. You need their HD box or their DCT box to get any channels at all. I mean I do get about 90 of their channels over digitall clearQAM to my HDHomerun but not sure how long that will last either.

I believe that it works fine on my old tube tv in the study. I will double check this weekend.

I have confirmed that basic analog cable does work on the old tv in the study, no cable box required. I email hauppauge about this and they just told me that they don't support server OS's.
