Frozen playback

I recently installed SageTV on my Windows 7 32bit machine. Occasionally (maybe once out of every 5 shows I watch) while playing something the video and audio will freeze. If I hit play to bring up the progress bar I'll see that it is still counting as though it's playing. Pausing it and hitting play again or trying to fast forward or rewind doesn't help. Going back to the SageTV main menu, then hitting the left button to go back to the video does fix the problem.

I've been using the playon plugin to watch hulu content as well as things that have been recorded from one of my hauppauge 2250 tuners and it happens no matter what I'm watching.

I updated to the latest version of Sage (6.6.2.24 -- 2009120901) and also installed update 10 of the native recording patch. The native recording patch actually did seem to help... it went from happening almost every time I watched something... maybe even two or three times during a recording to only the once in 5 shows that I'm seeing now, but it's still not totally fixed.

I recently got an HD200 and so far it hasn't happened on the HD200 at all, but I've watched much less there than I do on the Sage machine itself.

As far as hardware goes, it's an AMD Athlon X2 620 (quad core 2600mhz) with 4G of RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated on the motherboard (Asus M3A78-EM).

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
