Sharing the same sage interface xml file
Hi all
Is it a reasonable thing to share the sage interface XML file between my server and 3 HD200 units, or will something bad happen (file permissions, explosions, plague of locusts...) thanks Eric

As in the STV you load in settings (ie SageTV3-xx.xml or SageMCxxx-xx.xml)? There is no problem sharing them. I do this with 2 extenders and have never ran into a problem

Yeah, that thing.
I am doing it for a few reasons: 1) i can't seem to get comskip to install on the original one for the extender 2) i want all the extenders to behave exactly the same and not have to make changes in many different places. So it is officially not a problem?

If you're really concerned you could make one stv the way you want it, copy it, then load that on the second/third/etc extender/ui

I actually tried just that, and for some reason, it didn't work. I guess i have more playing to do.
