New vizio remotes with the keyboard!

Guys I was just looking at the new vizio remote that came with my tv and it is pretty awesome. Is there anything like this that can be used with sage? I would love to get a keyboard to use with my hd200 that is small enough so I can type title names and search. Right now as the library grows I have trouble getting to the correct movie fast enough for the kidos!

Thanks,

Neil

Can't you just link each remote IR code to a command in Sage using the setup? I am not sure you will be able to use the keyboard tho as I don't know if Sage lets you link those, but the rest you could....

I thought it was a bluetooth remote? So if you put a bluetooth->usb adapter into the HD200, I think it might work. Doesn't the HD200 allow you to plug in a USB keyboard?

Wow, SageTV needs to make this type of remote control for their Extenders. Or some company need to make this a universal learning remote conrtol. I'll definitely buy it.

Yes, but I only tested with RF wireless keyboard, I'm not sure if bluetooth version would work with the HD200.

probably a beter chance of getting something like this to work with Girder, and have it send commands to sage.. that said, I'm not sure how girder would be interfacing with it.

If you stick to the default stv, the keypad entry is probably faster/easier than using the tine slideout keyboard on that remote anyways.

Thanks for posting the picture but that is it! It is like a cell phone and it's an awesome remote for a HTPC / extender! It would be cool if we could use a usb to bluetooth and then use this remote but I doubt that works...

One day I am sure this will be almost a standard!
