Problems with library

I've been playing with the library function and have had problems (I know it's a beta, so it isn't a complaint, just a beta feedback report..)

I put one JPG, one AVI and one MPG into the ..\SageTV\Import directory

The Picture library shows the JPG file - but very weirdly. It seems to be showing a preview of the file, but instead of having the same aspect ratio as the source, it's incredibly stretched (original aspect ratio something like 4:3, now it's about 600 wide by 30 high..)

The picture apparently is 0 minutes long....

If I click on the picture, I get an OSD as if I'm watching a video, showing me the program length...

I can't seem to get out of the picture viewer other than by pressing Home, taking me all the way back to the main menu...
(Ideally, I'd be able to go back (left arrow, or 'back' button) or scroll through pictures using up/down))

The video library seems fine - but again I can't get out of it other than by pressing Home

The music library just says 'No Information' (not even the filename).

If I click on the AVI it starts playing it, and shows a black screen with an OSD which disappears after a few seconds leaving a totally black screen.

It would be better if the OSD stayed there permanently, or, even better, if a suitable pretty display was shown (something psychedelic, or even just a spectrum analyser display), but a black screen isn't good...
(hey, you could even, optionally, randomly show items from the picture library)

Again, I can't get out of it, except by pressing Home

(Oh, another wishlist item - playlists, or just a random play option for the music library)

I presume CDDB support for the audio library is already on the list as well :-)

Nope. Currently there's only support for one library directory. But if you change it, it keeps all of the files from the old directory. So set it to My Music, hit Apply, wait a few minutes while it scans all of your MP3s, and then you can set your import directory back to where it was. Then you'll have all the MP3s added to the library.
