Let me just say again that the new Plugin Manager has reduced support questions a lot. Big thanks to Jeff and the others at SageTV for making that happen.

Can't record?
I don't see a button to record using the mobile interface. I find the show I want by searching airings, check it's box and scroll down to the "Selection Options" section. There I see four buttons - "Set Watched", "Clear Watched", "Set Don't Like", and "Clear Don't Like". Isn't that where I should select "record"? If not, where is it?
I know that I set up a recording using my phone once before, but either something's changed or I'm looking in the wrong place now. I'm on 1.4.1, Sage 7, ubuntu. Thanks for any help. |

Version 2.0 of this plugin is now available! Head on over to the new thread to check it out and use that for discussions and support for version 2.

I have tried all the steps above but each time I try I get error 404. Problem accessing /sagem/m/menu.jsp Reason: NOT_FOUND.
When I tried deleting the web app folder it would only appear when the service was running. I tried to attach a logs file but all it has is empty request files. 0 KB. Any ideas to help a novice.

Maybe try this:
1) uninstall plugin from plugin manager 2) shutdown sage 3) remove the mobile web folder (do not remove the sageweb folder only the mobile) I can't remember exactly what the folders are called off of the top of my head, but you get the idea. 4) Start back up sage and make sure that the mobile folder is not recreated 5) try re-installing the plugin when you connect make sure you have the port number correct so if your port is 8080 you would connect to http://x.x.x.x:8080/sagem/m/menu.jsp hope that helps ~Pix64 |

Yes it's the sage mobile web interface and the jetty web server plugins I have installed. I have the HTTP ports set to 8080. The internet connection is set to advanced upnp configuration with port selection. I have tried automatic configuration also.

Thanks guys for all the help.
I have tried everything in the above posts I have even removed jetty and sagetv mobilewebserver from my plugins stopped sage and deleted everything in the sage/jetty file and reloaded the plugins but still the same error 404. Do I need to change something on my router ?

I am getting "cannot connect to the server". I have not changed one single setting, installed anything new, or done anything to sage in quite a while (other than installing updates and extenders firmware updates). All of the settings appear the same in all ways. The only significant thing that has occurred with the sage system in the past few months is a lockup from playing music too long (see thread elsewhere) which required rebooting the server, extender, and router. Otherwise, nothing has happened. I have not installed or changed any other plugins or anything. Any ideas?
P.S. same result with mobile web too (obviously?)

The router might have reassigned different IP's, so that could have broken some stuff...

I bet that's what happened - what's the easiest way to check the IP I need and fix it? (yeah, I'm an amateur)

Buffer?
Does the mobile web playback buffer before the show begins playing? I am running into an issue where playback will start play for up to a minute and then pause. This repeats until the show is done.
I would like to increase the buffer so the file playback doesn't pause. I understand this means the show won't start right away, but I am fine with it loading. I am trying to watch my shows via iPad and iPhone over wifi.

I think it's buffering 10 seconds before it start. Make sure you are using the latest version of the various plugins...

I have the most recent plugin. Is there a way to increase the buffer?
