Can't get BMT to work - Need a hand.

Ok, I have been fighting with this for a couple of days and I need Help.

I must be doing something wrong.
Probably something obvious but I can't see it.

Never had this installed under V6.

Installed the BMT plugin under V7 and and Web UI.
Everything looks OK and enabled and configured.
Ran upgrade tool to check for commons..

The Web UI gives me the error below.
I also found a phoenix.log file which looks like it is not configured properly.
I am attaching the logs to see if any of you can make sense out of this.
Thanks!

First and formost, i can't see from your post if you do or not, but do you have Jetty installed?

and if you do, are you running the most recent version of jetty which is available through the V7 plugin manager?

It looks like you have a xerces.jar in your classpath, C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\xerces.jar, and i'm not sure why you have it. It has been know to cause issues with the default java xml parser, so personally, I'd remove it, and restart.

Hmmm.. xerces is for the original xmltv plugin....
I will need to switch to another plugin to get rid of it.

Thanks Sean.

Just so you know... Jetty is specifically bombing out because of the jar file... and because of that, none of the jetty web apps are being loaded, including bmt

OK, I can understand that for Jetty.

Shouldn't BMT work by itself and do its thing in the background?

Or am I misunderstanding how BMT works.

OK it was xerces.jar. I removed it and BMT worked like a charm.

Thanks

Yeah, bmt should have still worked in the background, if it was configured to do so.

BMT only worked after xerces had gone so there maybe something there....

In any case, I switched to a much better xmltv plugin and xerces is gone.

2 birds with one stone.
