How do plugins get into the list of plugins?

Say I write a new plugin.

How does it get into the list of plugins shown in SageTV7?

Does it just trawl the download area of the forum?

(seems unlikely - theres nowhere to specify screen shots and web site)

You need to format the plugin and submit it.

The old Downloads area is for V6-compatible plugins (and earlier). To publish a V7 plugin, you must create a plugin manifest in XML form and upload it to the plugin submission system, which will check it for correctness (the manifest, not the actual plugin code) and then add it to the repository. Details are in the plugin developer's guide.

Just been reading details of the V7 plugin system.

Very impressive step forward that I think help will make plugins much more plugin and play.

Already bending my head around how to make a SageTV7 WebFeedEncoder plugin.
