It still happens with .mkv's occasionally. If I move them back and forth multiple times using BMI, it usually clears up. The ones that dont fix themselves, I just play 'em from the movies menu, then move 'em over to TV after I watch them just to have them in one spot.

I still use this plugin even though BMI supports moving 'em over, too. This problem happens with both BMI and this plugin, so I do not blame this plugin at all.

Fuzzy, thanks for this plug-in, I do love it. Question though, what are the exact steps to "undo" a move? I jacked some stuff up and need to remove them from my recording screen. Thanks man!

Yeah, it actually happened to me with BMT. . . It seems to have resolved itself though, somehow. . .

Doesn't seem to be working. If I rescan, the files disappear from the recordings screen, so I copy the files back in and they magically reappear. I even deleted thewiz.bin file.

Does anyone know a way to mass update allthefiles to tag them as not sage recordings?

What are the source of these files? Are there .properties files with them?

No, I deleted the properties files a while ago. The source is mostly episodes from my dvd collection, ripped to mkv. Or old recordings compressed with mediashrink.

Btw, I realize this pluggin was a one way trip, I knew what I was getting into, so I appreciate you even trying to help. Thanks!

Okay... I'm an idiot. I realized I had checked in BMT the option to import tv shows as recordings, that's why it kept re-doing it. I don't feel too bad, apparently Sean did the same thing. lol

False alarm people! Sorry...

Hi Fuzzy, this is actually a great addon. I really like it; and, have used it a lot. I have a feature request that should be pretty helpful for anyone using it..

There have been a couple of cases where I've had a bunch of TV recordings that somehow ended up in my Video Imports. There are two issue that I'm hoping you would consider to add. I'm sure you would find it useful yourself as well.

1. Allow multi-selecting of files to be transferred over to TV Recordings... if you have 10 or more of them, it really takes a while to do one by one.

2. For some odd reason before I transfer over a TV recording from imported videos back to TV recordings, it automatically enables the blue "Archived Video" option. Can you do it so that doesnt happen by default? That is another things that I have to do manually for every single file. I didnt see an option to disable that.

Thanks Fuzzy!

For recordings that end up in videos:

1.) if they are actual recordings, then v7 should being them back into recordings on their own (unless you've disabled that feature for some reason).
2.) you can use this import to move a folder (or any 'group' of files) from the 'group' options dialog. If you turn off 'combined' folder mode, the files that are residing in your recordings folder should be in their own group and you'd be able to move them all as a chunk.

As for the archived bit, that is sage's default behavior for imports moved to recordings. It is done this way to prevent auto-deleting imported files. This is actually designed for those who are truly importing their tv shows from somewhere else (DVD, etc), in which case, archived is most likely the right option. This wasn't designed for moving actual sage recording back to the recordings screen (especially since this should happen automatically post v7 - unless you've disabled that options for some reason).

Hey Fuzzy,
I use this plugin all the time. Just had to rebuild my server (i am on beta 7.1.2), and now all my recordings are back in the import directory. I get the option to move individual files, but i cant seem to move whole folders like i used to. I cant find the setting you are refering to in the quote below. Any help appreciated before i have to manually move 500+ recordings.

It might be in the 'unsupported extras' section of the customize menu, so if you ahven't turned that on, do so. (5309 on System Info screen)
