DirecTV power
OK, two weekends in a row this has happened, and I'm hoping someone can help me understand what's going on.
I use two DirecTV boxes (using S-Video and USB to Serial cables) as sources for my SageTV box. The server is headless (I use Placeshifter and Media MVP's), and channel changes work fine. I've recently started traveling more, and two weekends in a row, the DirecTV receivers power off while I'm gone, so all I record are blank channels. This is new, because the receivers stay powered on 24/7 while I'm in town. The boxes are on the same UPS system as the server, so I don't think it's a power issue (I checked the logs for a reboot). Any ideas where I can start looking? I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything specific to this issue. |
