Plugin manager fails

I don't seem to be able to download and install any plugins. At the end of installtion, it seems as if it installed correctly - at least no error messages. Then, if I tried to check the status of a plugin, it tells me that it has failed. I've tried stopping and restarting the service. I've tried uninstalling everything (including Sage and te indivdual plugins) and then reinstalling. I've tried ensuring that the permissions of the entire Sage folder is set to give access to everyone.

Anyone have any ideas. I'm on v7.0.12 with the updated stv. Any thoughts?

A correction to my post above is that I kept trying to reinstall a handful of plugins that had failed. None of those worked. However, I later thought I'd try to uninstall all my other plugins and reinstall them. That seemed to allows those plugins (that weren't giving me problems) to continue working fine. The problem plugins still weren't working. So I shouldn't have said that none of the plugins were installing correctly. Anyway, bug report submitted.

Sage support gave me this answer and it worked:

What you can do to clean out all the plugin stuff; and then start over (which should fix it) is this:

1) Remove all the installed plugins using the SageTV UI
2) Uninstall SageTV via add/remove programs
3) Delete the JARs folder in the SageTV program folder
4) Delete filetracker.properties from the SageTV program folder (also delete stagedrenames.txt or stageddeletes.txt if they exist)
5) Install SageTV again and install all of your plugins

When my Serenity theme got messed up with 7.0.12, I tried reverting back to 7.0.11 by copying a backup. That seems to have gotten my plugins out of sync somehow.
