Having an issue, not sure where to start debugging.

I am run Sage 7 ( latest beta 7.0.12.234) with the latest BMT 4.3. At one point the system was grabbing metadata information and fanart for the TV shows I had imported in the format of "TV Show Name - SXXE11.mkv"

However, after a while I noticed that for some reason the metadata information for the show title had simply been replaced by the name of the show for some episodes.

Unsure of why.. I removed that import location from sage and then added it back. At this point, it appears as if BMT cannot get any metadata. I rescan and in my system messages I am told that ortus had a matchrate of 0.

When I use the web interface and look at a show.. It almost seems as if BMT can't detect that it is a TV show? It prepopulates the fields as a movie and even if I switch it to TV, it keeps the title as the full title of the file and doesn't break out the season or episode information automatically..

Any ideas?

Looking around on the forums a bit more.. I am starting to wonder if it is because I installed Ortus Trailers which installed Ortus core.. Ortus core might be taking over the metadata functions for BMT..

Anyone experience this?

From what I can tell, it was Ortus Core. I reset the ortus core config (even though I never changed it) and then went into BMT and reset the MetaDataParser to BMT and did a full rescan.


Seems to be working fine again.
