Short of installing Tapatalk on the forums, can anyone suggest an alternate way of viewing the forums on an Android phone? Right now I'm just using Chrome and there's lots of zooming in and out and a number of missed link presses. Is there a third party app or something that will give a more mobile friendly viewing experience?

If vBulletin can't be updated... would it be possible to get more mobile friendly theme installed?
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=263822 BTW... not a fan of tapatalk, for the same reasons that Fuzzy mentioned. I installed it once to view another forum, and I removed it about 2hours later after the non-stop push notifications was extremely annoying.

I guess I now know why I cannot seem to figure out how to get tapatalk setup for this forum. I'm about to start a long mobile journey and using non mobile sites on tablets and phones is just a really crummy experience. -Bill

tapatalk is evil, it nags, it spams, and it just generally annoys...
I am more than happy to deal with all the zooming in/out when on my phone vs tapatalk... of course a real mobile friendly forum would be nice... but for some odd reason, I really don't think that is likely...

Nougat lets you block any of the apps nagging you. Tapatalk seems just fine to me once I setup the app not to annoy me, and then followed up with the android app settings so the app couldn't decide to annoy me anyway. Google Fi Rocks!

Every forum I frequent that has tapatalk enabled I immediately skip it and use the desktop version. I don't know if I'm just too comfortable with the full page, but I cannot stand the tapatalk interface.

Alternate way is to completely switch forum software to something that more modern and works cross all platforms, PC, SmartPhone, Tablet etc. One such software is Xenforo and it have gain popularity for the last few years. I plan to switch all my forum over to Xenforo this summer when I have more time. https://xenforo.com/ No need to install an app to use xenforo, it already got mobile and tablet friendly code built in.
