Sage API - sagetvmsg.txt - Can API tell if HDPVR Crashed?

I am wondering if the sage api http://download.sage.tv/api/index-all.html
can be used to tell if a HD-PVR crashed?

I have a APC masterswitch that I would like to use to restart the HD-PVR via sage if it craps out. I know others are monitoring the log file directly but since I already have the APC Masterswitch controlled by CQC if the HD-PVR crash is available in the API I think the CQC driver writer could add it.

I did check the sage api page and there are a bunch of tags that deal with system message but with just the documentation it is tough to tell if the HD-PVR crash info is available there.

Do a search for SageAlert and HD PVR, there's a couple members using the system message functionality to do that, since system messages are triggered whenever a tuner fails.

I have sagearert and was going to do it that way. But I can't get my APC masterswitch to do a restart from the command line. The scripts I found all use perl and I had problems installing the needed perl module last night.

I had thought if this was in the API I could do everything right through CQC.

Well you could use the same API SageAlert uses.

Is there a list of those system Messages somewhere?
