v7.0.15 fails to capture from firewire
For 1 year my Sage 6 setup is capturing most of the shows through firewire, and some from my old 2250 Hauppauge dual tuner.
I've been using Timm Moore's FireSTB package and SgraphRecorder, on Windows 7 32bits. 10 days ago I upgraded to Sage 7 and today I realized that since then it has failed to capture any show using the firewire. It sees the firewire "tuner", changes channel, and tries to use it, but it gets no signal. Live TV doesn't work either. ![]() When all my attempts to fix it failed, I reverted back to my old and reliable Sage6 and all is good again. |

I use firewire capture but I am running Vista. I have read that under Windows 7 you may need to regress to an older 1394 driver.
FWIW - I am not referencing the Timmoore firewire capture driver. This would be the driver that comes with Windows and I believe others have gone back to the driver that comes with XP or Vista. |
